Part 1. A month into my trip, I get into Israel and make a brief visit to Tel Aviv (I’ll return later), explore Haifa, talk politics in Jerusalem and sleep through Eilat.
I take the opportunity to attempt to understand both sides of the conflict that’s plagued the region and have a rare chance to interview a local Palestinian.
