redhenk February 15, 2010 at 8:09 am: I was there too. Half way through his performance it started to rain but that was O.K. for the audience. We all danced and grooved to Taj. That was the first time I heard him and I’ve enjoyed all the records that he’s put out.
canadianroot February 15, 2010 at 8:09 am: had the good fortune of seeing him in 72 at the mariposa festival in toronto (held on the islands), got my first sniff of weed and a my first taste of real music. i was 13. saw him years later at harbourfront (also in toronto). great music is timeless, as are the musicians who create it. they have no shelf life, because terms like that don’t apply.
